Not all in subdivision want to break away from city
One official says he can recall only one similar effort, and it failed.

Mark Bowen holds a petition Wednesday, June 17, while standing in his Bridgewood Villa subdivision. The petition, signed by 60 of 80 property owners, was presented Tuesday, June 16, to Middletown City Council, calling for the neighborhood to be allowed to secede from the city and join Turtlecreek Twp.

The second thing they need to know is that Les Landen is the worst attorney in the world, and it will be easy to win their case if they get a good attorney.

It is their private property, and their lives, so if 80% or more of them want to detach who are we to object?
I think that I would vote to allow it. If I were in their shoes, I would be in favor of detaching.
