FRANKLIN TWP. — A Madison Twp. woman was found Friday morning, Nov. 27, along Twin Creek just off Chamberlain Road in Warren County just a few hours after her family reported her missing.

Warren County Sheriff Larry Sims said the woman has been identified as Debra Young, 40, of Franklin-Trenton Road. He said the incident is being investigated as a “nonsuspicious” death.

The woman’s family at 5:30 a.m. reported she was a “critical missing person,” through Butler County, meaning the family had concerns about their health, safety and general well-being, Sims said.

Warren County dispatchers received a report at about 10 a.m. of a woman who was unresponsive and not breathing under the bridge. The woman’s body was found on the east side of the bridge going over Twin Creek between the Carlisle city limits and Morningstar Road located inside the Twin Creek MetroPark of Montgomery County.

Dr. Russell Uptegrove, Warren County coroner, said an autopsy will be performed at the Montgomery County morgue at the Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab in Dayton to determine her cause of death.
