A television reality special featuring the CEO and founder of Pure Romance, a Cincinnati-based company, is scheduled to air at 11 p.m. May 10 on the TLC network.

“Mother Knows Sex” will highlight Patty Brisben, a mother of four who has made millions selling sex toys and products for the bedroom. Pure Romance products are sold through direct-sale home shows like Tupperware parties.

Brisben’s company employs more than 30,000 people nationwide. The show focuses on the business and how the Brisben family struggles to gain acceptance for working in a business that is unconventional.

Pure Romance was founded in 1993. Its headquarters is a warehouse located in Loveland.
