FRANKLIN TWP. — A Miamisburg woman was injured Wednesday night, Aug. 26, when she was reportedly ejected in a single-vehicle crash.

Michele Schneider, 34, was transported by medical helicopter from the scene on Interstate 75 south of the Pennyroyal Road overpass at about 8:45 p.m., according to the Lebanon Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol. Her condition was not immediately available this morning, Aug. 27.

Three children, ages 11, 14 and 15, who were passengers in the Jeep, were also transported by ambulance to area hospitals, but no additional information was available this morning.

The crash remains under investigation by the highway patrol.

first of all this lady needs to be in jail for drinking and driving her bac was .16 and with three children in the car so tell me why didnt the police arest her on site there should be a tougher penalty for this

The drivers phone needs to be checked. So many of these accidents are caused by people whose faces are bobble heading between the road and their phone. On the other site a driver mentioned that they were behind these people while on the highway and she saw her texting.

I hope and pray that it is not the case, but her phone and accident times should be checked. The stories are all different so I will pray for the mom and her three children. I hope they have a speedy recovery.

Last night after working 12 hours , I'd sat in the the construction ( stopped - as in dead stopped , construction zone ) for more than 1 hour from 1130 pm to 1:15 am ) where apparently the OSP shut down all 3 lanes for moving into place large concrete beams. It sucked. I saw what probally caused this young lady to get hurt
there were drivers ducking in and out of the stopped traffic trying to move 10 frkn ft, what iddiots, we all ned to slow down and try n keep traffic moving. Good luck...
