Do you fancy yourself a ghostbuster?

Both believers and non-believers are invited to learn the secrets of ghost hunting with a professional ghost hunting team at 7:45 p.m on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Museum at the Friends Home in Waynesville.

“The Ghostly History Walking Tour has been one of the biggest fund-raisers for the Museum,” said Cyndi Pauwels, spokeswoman for the Museum at the Friends House. “This is a chance for fans of the tour to try and spot their own ghosts.”

The Museum at the Friends Home is teaming with ParaVizionz, a Middletown based ghost-hunting group for the class. ParaVizionz will teach students about photography techniques and using audio recording and electromagnetic frequency detectors (EMFs) to try and locate ghosts.

Following the class, students will receive a disposable camera and take to the streets of Waynesville to attempt to track their own visitors from beyond.

The class cost $35 per person. Space is limited and attendees must be 18 or older. For ticket information or for reservations, call (513)897-1607 or visit www.friendshomemuseum.org .

Pauwels said another ghost hunter training sessions would be held on Thursday, Oct. 22.

The regular Ghostly Walking Tours will take place on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout October except for the week of Oct. 5 due to the sauerkraut festival. The tours are $10 per person. A dinner package with Hammel House Restaurant is also available.

I'm not a child, I'm a two dimensional 35 year old plumber from the mushroom kingdom. And I agree with you, I've seen them, in castles. Just watch your back man, that's how they got Luigi.

Since your references are only based on video games..I'm assuming you're a child. Paranormal occurrences have been reported since the beginning of mankind. Your parents have told you all along that ghosts weren't real. Well, maybe they are right. Maybe when we were told the world was flat, those people were right too. At least, until someone was brave enough to prove those people wrong. May I suggest opening your mind some day, and look into the unknown.

Trust me, ghosts exist, I've seen then in many castles while trying to rescue princes. They only attack from behind when you aren't looking, bunch of cowards if you ask me. Not even fireballs work against them! Just watch yourself, especially when timed jumps are critical in advancing.
