More coverage

It is astonishing that "local" people are complaining about this new outlet mall. It will be a magnet, drawing huge numbers of people to the local area, leaving huge dollars which will directly impact the local area. I am a local person and I have watched the deterioration of our local areas for over 50 years. Small-minded whining is not what we need. We need to be grateful for the many opportunities investors from outside our local area are bringing. Geesh!!

well so far i have noticed that the only people that have been relocated have been managers, mainly because its such a busy time and they already know what theyre doing and how to do it.everybody in my store i seen at the job fair standin in line waitin for a job and not sittin on there butts at home.alot of other stores around also have people i seen there and the people who have been relocated are most likely going back to there store where they came from theyre just around for the time being

You do understand that anyone who applied was interviewed or pre-screened. The best was hired.. Most of the time it's not what skills you have but how well you interviewed. I am one of the people that was hired, and then went on to host a job fair.Personality is what was the deciding factor, meaning what can you bring to the table. Just to let you know all the store are great they are great prices, and most of these store you won't see anywhere else near by!!!

Well, I'm taking my Banana Republic paycheck and spending it at Marsh's or Dillman's cause those are the two places I shop at most. I doubt I was the only person from Middletown hired. Yes, it's an outlet mall and the prices aren't reallly that great, but if you shop wisely and carefully, you can find deals. I used to live near the Pigeon Forge outlet malls and learned how to "surf" the deals. Find stores you like and then watch for special sales and go EARLY. That's the key.

TO Lisa from Mom of One: If you ask a person from South of 275 area where are they from, they will give you their Cincinnati neighborhood. These people have been transferred to the Outlet from other Malls. They will take our Middletown/Monroe $ we spend back to their neighborhoods via paychecks and it will not be reinvested in our "local" communities. Monroe, Middletown, Trenton residents needed this work. I'll keep my $ at the local stores who employ my local neighbors.
