‘Fully-engulfed’ blaze extinguished

PREBLE COUNTY — Crews fighting a fire in the 400 block of Oxford-Germantown Road near Camden have the blaze put out, according to initial reports.

According to those on the scene, the fire was extinguished shortly before 9:30 p.m. There were no reports of injuries.

The blaze was called in at about 8:30 p.m. as a “fully-engulfed structure,” according to initial emergency dispatches.

Preble County dispatchers said they did not believe anyone was in the house when the fire broke out.
