Cows on the loose rounded up by police

MONROE — Monroe police responded just after 2 a.m. today to a report of cows on the loose along Gallaher Road.

Officers on scene found at least five animals that escaped from the LB Ranch in Monroe, according to dispatch reports.

By 2:30 a.m., three bulls and a calf were back behind the gates and one animal was still down the hill, according to reports.
