Club news
Middletown Poetry Circle met
Middletown Poetry Circle met Nov. 20. Various members shared original poems. The poems reflected different views of fall and winter holidays. The group will meet 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 212 S. Broad St., Middletown. For more information or a newsletter, call (513) 988-6829.
Garden club met
The Middletown Garden Club met at the home of Teresa Sawyer for their year end luncheon on Nov. 12. Assistant hostesses were Nancy Fraunfelter, Patti Gage, Debby Akers, Lisa Wilson, Judy Schneider and Suzi Vitori. Club President Angela Retzios thanked her excutive board for a great year and turned the gavel over to Debbie Hazelbaker president for 2013. Exhibit entry winners for the year: 1st Debbie Hazelbaker, 2nd Suzi Vitori and 3rd Judy Schneider. Next meeting will be March 2013.

Brian Wise of Middletown and Erica Campbell and Chelcie Hunt of Lebanon are members of the Honors Program at Eastern Kentucky University.
