LEBANON — A Franklin woman will have to register as a sex offender for the next 25 years as part of her sentence for having sexual contact with a minor.

Theresa Ritchie, 33, of the 3600 block of Beatrice Drive, was sentenced Tuesday, Sept. 22, after pleading guilty to seven counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a third-degree felony, according to Warren County court records.

She will spend one year in jail and five years on community control, according to court records. She was also designated as a Tier II sex offender, meaning she will have to register her address and place of work with the sheriff’s office every 180 days for 25 years, according to the prosecutor’s office.

Ritchie was investigated for having sexual contact with a juvenile between June and August 2007.
