SPRINGBORO — A Springboro woman has been indicted on charges accusing her of aiding in the manufacture of methamphetamine near her children on Oct. 22 at her grandparents’ home in Springboro.

Rachael Abrams, 27, of Springboro, and Robert Hubbard, 35, of Eaton, are both indicted on charges of illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for use in the manufacture of drugs and two counts of child endangering, according to a report issued on Monday, Nov. 23, by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

Hubbard is accused of cooking the drugs within 14 feet of a one-month-old baby and 8-year-old boy at 9192 Clearcreek Franklin Rd. on Oct. 22

Abrams, also listed as a resident of her grandparents’ home on Clearcreek-Franklin, is accused of leaving her children at the residence while Hubbard was making the drugs.

Hubbard was making a batch — in what authorities said was a hazardous process —  when drug agents raided the home on Oct. 22, according to Commander John Burke of the Warren County Drug Task Force.

Hubbard was arrested during a county-wide drug sweep involving multiple law enforcement agencies. On Monday, Hubbard remained in the Warren County jail on $400,750 bond, according to court records.

The children were turned over to social workers. Abrams remained free Monday, according to authorities.
