MIDDLETOWN — North University Boulevard and North Breiel Boulevard is now open to traffic following a two vehicle crash.
Middletown crews were dispatched to the scene at about 9:45 a.m. today, March 18, on the report that two vehicles had collided. According to reports from the scene, a gray Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera was pushed up onto the concrete turn lane divider and sustained moderate damage on the front end and driver’s side. That vehicle, which had a handicap placard hanging from its rear view mirror, contained at least two passengers.
The other vehicle, a light brown Chevy Impala, sustained moderate front end damage.
Middletown dispatchers did not know how many passengers there were in either vehicle or how many people were injured in the crash, although two ambulances were sent to the scene. As of 10:45 a.m., the roadway was reopened but police were still on scene investigating the crash.
