MIDDLETOWN — Middletown police said they are looking for an illegal immigrant accused of numerous counts of sexual imposition with a 13-year-old girl.
Ismael Reyes Morales, 42, whose last known address was on Sandstone Drive in Monroe, is wanted for three counts of sexual imposition with a minor, according to Detective Kenny Rogers.
He is also wanted for five counts of the same charge by the Springboro police and a felony count of sexual misconduct with a minor out of Hamilton County, Rogers said.
All charges stem back to interactions with a 13-year-old Springboro girl. According to police, Morales was considered a friend of the girl’s family. The girl, her family and Morales all met through church. They attended Iglesia Cristiana Hispana Ohio on Lewis Street in Middletown.
According to Rogers, the family became suspicious of Morales when “inappropriate” phone calls and text messages were intercepted at odd hours.
Rogers said Morales is accused of “inappropriately touching” the girl.
Rogers said Morales has spoken with a local attorney who contacted the police and advised Morales to turn himself in. Morales has not, and Rogers said he may have left the area.
Rogers said he spoke to Morales in an interview earlier this month after he was accused of the imposition. At that time, Morales said he was an illegal immigrant from Mexico who has been in the United States at least 10 years, according to Rogers.
Rogers said Morales told him he worked as a contractor for a satellite dish installation company.
Anyone with any information on Morales is asked to contact the Middletown police (513) 425-7700.
