LEBANON — A Dayton man was indicted by a Warren County grand jury Nov. 20 on drug trafficking charges at a Franklin motel on June 25.
The indictments were released on Monday, Nov. 23.
Tyrone L. Martin, 35, was indicted for trafficking in heroin and for trafficking in cocaine, both third-degree felonies.
According to Chief Assistant Prosecutor Bruce McGary of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, Martin was allegedly at the Econoline motel on East Second Street with a total of 12.97 grams of both drugs combined in two Baggies for the purpose of distribution.
McGary also said the grand jury indicted two Mason people for allegedly “snatching wallets out of purses” at restaurants and bars in Deerfield Twp. in October 2009.
He said both defendants, Debbie Collins, 47, and Harry R. Jarrett, 47, took the wallets and misused credit cards at local restaurants and bars in amounts of $500 to $5,000.
Police were able to identify the defendants through surveillance cameras used at the various establishments, McGary said.
Collins was indicted on two counts of theft, fifth-degree felonies; two counts of forgery, also fifth-degree felonies; receiving stolen property and misuse of credit cards, both fifth-degree felonies; one count of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor; and resisting arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor.
