The "homesick bandit" will spend four years in prison for robbing a Lebanon Cash Advance, according Lebanon police officials.

Adrian J. Allen, 23, formerly of Auburn, Wash., plead guilty Thursday, Nov. 19 to an aggravated robbery charge for the Aug. 12 armed robbery of the First American Cash Advance, located in Colonial Square off Main Street in Lebanon.

Allen was captured two days later at a bus station in Missoula, Mont. Police said they believed he had robbed the cash advance to finance a trip back to Auburn. Allen had been staying in Lebanon for an unknown amount of time prior to the robbery.

Allen had been in communication with people about his plans, who in turn shared those plans with police, according to Sgt. Jeff Mitchell of the Lebanon Police Department. Lebanon police learned Allen was traveling via Greyhound bus and timed the bus’s next stop to a Missoula, Mont. bus station, where local police arrested him.

Warren County Common Pleas Judge James L. Flannery sentenced Allen to four years in prison and must pay restitution.
