SPRINGDALE — A Fairfield woman was indicted Friday by a Hamilton County grand jury in the fatal shooting of a Princeton High School football player.
Tiana Sullivan, 22, was indicted on charges of murder and aggravated robbery, according to the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts website.
Police say Sullivan shot 18-year-old Lamar Williams around 3 a.m. July 20 while fleeing the scene of an armed robbery at the Willows Apartments on Chesterdale Court in Springdale.
Sullivan, Williams and a 17-year-old boy, who is not being named because of his age, allegedly robbed three people at gunpoint at the apartment complex. As the trio fled the scene, Springdale police say Sullivan’s gun went off, sending a bullet into Williams’ neck. Sullivan drove Williams to Mercy Hospital Fairfield. He was transferred to University Hospital in Cincinnati, where July 24 he succumbed to his injuries.
Williams was a two-year starter at safety on the Princeton football team and was a member of the Class of 2012. He split classroom time between Princeton and Live Oaks Career Development Campus in Sharonville.
Sullivan remains in the Hamilton County Justice Center in lieu of a $300,000 bond. The teen is being held at the juvenile detention center in Cincinnati.
