MIDDLETOWN — A 49-year-old clerk was injured and transported to Atrium Medical Center after a robbery at the Cricket Wireless Store, 1224 Central Ave., Middletown.

According to Middletown police, around 1 p.m. Saturday, March 20, two males wearing white masks entered the store with a black handgun and demanded money from the unidentified woman.

As the men grabbed an undetermined amount of money, the clerk tried to run out of the store.

The men, described as white males, pulled her back into the store and threw her on the ground.

The men then fled out the front door and went south down an alley.

The Middletown K-9 unit conducted a search, which led down the alley about one block from the store where the scent ended.

One of the robbers wore a blue hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The one with a gun had a white stripe on his pants.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Detective Jerry Mossman at (513) 425-7724 or police dispatch at (513) 425-7700.
