Two Middletown 19-year-olds have been indicted by a Butler County grand jury in connection with the sexual assault and robbery of a woman last month inside her home.
Authorities say Jad Holmes of the 600 block of Lafayette Avenue and Cory M. Isreal of the 700 block of 15th Avenue, along with a 17-year-old male, allegedly forced their way into an Arlington Avenue residence on Oct. 10 and assaulted the resident at gunpoint.
Holmes was indicted Wednesday, Nov. 18, on aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, two counts of kidnapping, rape and obstructing official business, according to a grand jury report.
Isreal was indicted Wednesday for aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, two counts of kidnapping, rape and receiving stolen property, according to the report.
Middletown police detective Rich Bush said a warrant also has been issued for the arrest of a 17-year-old male in connection to the assault and robbery.
The woman who reported the incident told police she and her boyfriend were moving into the residence. She said when her boyfriend left to pick up another load, the trio then forced their way inside and assaulted her, taking her cell phone, $10, DVDs and a camera, according to police.
Holmes and Isreal on Wednesday remained housed in the Butler County Jail on two bonds of $500,000 each.
