NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Aaron Fike and his fiancee, Cassandra Davidson, appeared before Mason Municipal Court Judge George Parker Thursday and each waived their right to a preliminary hearing. Their cases will now move to the Warren County Court of Common Pleas.

Fike and Davidson were arrested at Kings Island in Mason July 7 after police say they found what they believe was heroin, numerous syringes and other drug related paraphernalia in Fike's SUV.

According to police reports, Fike attempted to leave after police flashed their badges and he struck one officer with his mirror. No charges were filed for incident because the officer was not hurt.

Police reports also indicated that both Fike and Davidson told police they use heroin and that the drug materials were theirs.

Fike and Davidson both pleaded not guilty in Mason Municipal Court on July 10 and Magistrate Judge Eddie Lawson released them on their own recognizance. Fike underwent a drug and alcohol evaluation immediately after he was released, per the court's order.

NASCAR suspended Fike and Davidson indefinitely. Davidson serves in Fike's pit crew.
