COLUMBUS — Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio, supplier of natural gas for the Dayton region, is to receive an award from the Ohio Arts Council in recognition of the company’s support of the arts.
Vectren was among eight winners chosen in competition for the 2012 Governor’s Awards for the Arts in Ohio. A total of 67 nominations were submitted by individuals and organizations statewide.
The Ohio Arts Council and Ohio Citizens for the Arts Foundation are to honor the winners at a luncheon May 9, 2012, in Columbus. Winners are to receive an original work of art by Debra Joyce Dawson, a Pataskala artist.
