MIDDLETOWN — The Taco Bell at 2101 N. Verity Pkwy. is undergoing remodeling.

Construction began Monday, Sept. 27, to remodel the fast-food restaurant for a newer look and a look similar to other stores, said Billie Profitt, the location’s general manager. The project is part of a national remodel project.

Profitt also said five corporate-owned stores in the Cincinnati area are undergoing construction, including this one. The inside will be closed for three weeks, but the drive-through is open. The restaurant is scheduled to reopen by Oct. 18. Taco Bell on Verity Parkway was last updated 10 years ago when it was rebuilt, she added. It’s been in the same spot more than 30 years and has 26 employees now.
