Middletown contractor chosen for Army contract at Fort Bragg

Staff Report

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a $13 million contract to Better Built Construction Services Inc., of Middletown to convert an existing processing facility to a headquarters building for the 3rd Brigade Combat Team at Fort Bragg.

The contract also includes construction of a new processing facility that the 82nd Airborne Division will use to process all incoming personnel attached to any of the four brigade combat teams at Fort Bragg, an Army installation. Both projects are to be done in March 2013, the Corps of Engineers said.

The Middletown contractor also serves the Department of Veterans Affairs, Environmental Protection Agency, Navy and Air National Guard, along with civilian-sector clients.
