Staff Report

About 160 people will be losing their jobs as BAE Systems has announced it is transferring military production to its Sealy, Texas facility.

The West Chester Twp. facility is releasing the employees beginning in November.

BAE Systems in West Chester will continue work on commercial armored vehicles, transparent armor and JLTV engineering.

Officials said moving the military production work to Texas will streamline the organization and reduce costs.
