WEST CHESTER TWP. — The Butler County Health Department has scheduled a follow-up Hepatitis A vaccination clinic for Saturday, April 5, after a Wednesday clinic ran out of adult vaccinations.
Department director Patricia Burg said the department had ordered 900 adult doses of the vaccine and 200 children's doses to treat diners who may have been exposed to the disease in March at P.F. Chang's Restaurant in West Chester Twp.

The vaccinations are free to the public, and paid for by P.F. Chang's.
"I would imagine Monday and Tuesday we had 1,000 calls each day," she said, adding that the department usually keeps about 50 doses on hand, due to the medicine's shelf life.
A report provided by P.F. Chang's estimated 5,800 people ate at the restaurant between March 14 and 25, when an infected employee worked there.
The restaurant is working with the department to provide Saturday's clinic, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. John's Evangelistic Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Road. In addition, P.F. Chang's announced Thursday it will provide vaccinations through four area clinics through the weekend.
The participating clinics are Urgent Care of West Chester at 7345 Kingsgate Way in West Chester Twp, Cold Spring Urgent Care at 3699 Alexandria Pike in Cold Spring, Ken, and Urgent Care of Oakley/Hyde Park at 5002 Ridge Avenue in Cincinnati. Those clinics will be open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Passport Health at 10274 Alliance Road in Blue Ash will be open 4 to 8 p.m. today and 10 am. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Health Department has established a hot line about the clinic at (800) 418-0359, and P.F. Chang's has established a hot line at (800) 328-7761 to answer patron questions.
