Power was restored to all customers by 6:15 p.m., she said.

The outages occurred when a truck struck a utility pole on Union Road just south of Manchester Road at 5:48 p.m., said Trooper Bob Rose, of the Lebanon

Five children were transported to Middletown Hospital for minor injuries after the Franklin Twp. accident, Rose said. All children in the truck, ages

, were buckled in at the time of the accident, Rose said.

The driver of the 2000 Ford truck, 24-year-old Courtney Duff, of Franklin, also suffered minor injuries. Duff

has not been

cited in the crash

because an investigation as to why her vehicle left the road is ongoing, Rose said.
