COLUMBUS, Ohio — Evan Turner had 15 points, 14 rebounds and six assists and No. 16 Ohio State shot 63 percent from the field in beating Walsh 86-48 in an exhibition game Wednesday night.

Eleven players scored for the Buckeyes, who open their season on Monday against Alcorn State in the 2K Sports Classic.

William Buford added 15 points, David Lighty had 11 and Jeremie Simmons and Jon Diebler had 10 apiece for the Buckeyes, who went 22-11 and lost to Siena in the first round of the NCAA tournament last season.

Lighty played his first game since breaking a bone in his foot early last season.

Ricky Jackson led Walsh with 14 points.

Kyle Madsen started at center for Ohio State in place of Dallas Lauderdale, out with a broken finger.
