MIAMI — Ohio State football recruit Jamaal Berry was arrested for felony marijuana possession, according to ESPN.com.
Berry, ranked as the nation’s third-best running back and 22nd-best prospect overall by ESPN, was charged with possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, a third-degree felony that carries a penalty of up to five years in jail and a $5,000 fine.
OSU coach Jim Tressel told Columbus TV station WBNS he wouldn’t comment until he had more information.
