SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Miami University senior Amanda Mirochna set a new school record in the 3000-meter run Saturday, Feb. 6, in the final day of Notre Dame’s Meyo Invitational.
Mirochna placed 12th in the race in 9 minutes, 31.98 seconds, eclipsing Tricia Roddy’s recdord of 9:38.55 set in 1999. Mirochna’s time also earned her an NCAA provisional qualifying time.
Miami sophomore Rachel Patterson set a school record in the 5000m run at the meet on Friday in 16:40.13.
