TOLEDO — The Miami University volleyball advanced to the Mid-American Conference semifinals Friday with a sweep of Bowling Green 25-22, 25-23, 25-20.

The RedHawks improved to 17-12 on the season, while the Falcons finished the year at 13-20. Miami will take on the winner of the Western Michigan-Buffalo quarterfinal match tonight at 7.

Maria Leahy, Hallie Hanks and Michele Metzler each had eight kills to lead the RedHawks, while Leahy had a team-high 20 digs and Metzler added a match-high seven blocks.
