Miami icers fall to Bemidji State
GRAND FORKS, N.D. — The Top-ranked Miami Univeristy hockey team rallied from a two-goal deficit to tie the game in the third period, but No. 6 Bemidji State scored with less than four minutes to left to beat the RedHawks 3-2 on Friday, Nov. 27, at the Subway Holiday Classic.
Chris McKelvie scored the game-winning goal with 3:19 remaining as the Beavers improved to 11-1-1.
Carter Camper scored two third-period goals for Miami (9-2-4). Curtis Mackenzie assisted on both goals.
The game was a rematch of last season’s Frozen Four national semifinal, which Miami won to advance to the title game.
The RedHawks face fourth-ranked North Dakota tonight.
