Here are details on the Player of the Year candidates:

Jerry Gates, Middletown: Versatile senior defensive back/wide receiver had six interceptions and four returns (kick and interception) for TDs.

Cody Wilmot, Madison: Sophomore passed for 300-plus yards and three TDs as one of three players Mohawks used at QB.

Kevin Watts, Middletown: Versatile senior receiver (20 catches, 4 TDs) and runner (8.8 yards per carry, 3 TDs).

Caleb Watkins, Middletown: Senior quarterback passed for 1,447 yards and 13 TDs.

Antonio Banks, Middletown: Senior running back rushed for 864 yards (6.5 yards per carry) and 15 TDs.

Brandon Fox, Valley View: Junior totaled close to 600 all-purpose yards; also had a successful stint at QB because of injury.

Justin Elder, Edgewood: Senior running back rushed for 765 yards and 9 TDs.

Nick McGill, Carlisle: Junior running back rushed for 1,109 yards and 12 TDs.

Week 5: Antonio Banks, RB, Middletown (10,844 votes)

Week 4: Caleb Watkins, QB, Middletown (25,035 votes)

This vote is flawed. Jerry Gates has the second most votes, but the percentage is only 5+%. Antonio Banks has the most votes,.16%. Nick McGill 1074 votes, 47%.etc. TheMJ needs to look into this problem. HAHAHA.
