Monroe boys fall 
to Talawanda

OXFORD — Seniors Kody Wilhelm and Sam Hornsby combined for 22 points off the bench Tuesday to lead Talawanda past visiting Monroe 48-37 in prep boys basketball action.

Wilhelm scored 12 and Hornsby 10 for Talawanda (2-4).

Monroe’s Chris Sloneker scored a game-high 17 points.

The Braves visit Hamilton on Friday night, while Monroe hosts Carlisle.
