All-Area Defensive Player of the Year

School: Middletown

Class: Senior

Position: Defensive back

Size: 6-foot-1, 200 pounds

Statistics: Made six interceptions and returned two for touchdowns this year, while also totaling 562 return yards and three touchdowns. He also had 14 receptions for 169 yards and a touchdown, plus 17 rushes for 281 yards and four more scores.

Athletic highlight: His first kickoff and punt returns for touchdowns, which came during his junior season.

Career goal: To play in the National Football League, but also to major in sports management and become an athletic director once his football career is over.
