CARLISLE — Alexis Murphy hit a trio of 3-pointers and scored 17 points Thursday night as the Carlisle High School girls basketball team remained unbeaten with a 33-27 victory over Dayton Northridge.

Allyson Campbell chipped in six points for the Indians, who moved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the Southwestern Buckeye League Buckeye Division.

Cadijah Spears collected 15 points for the visiting Polar Bears (3-3, 1-1).

Carlisle returns to action at home next Thursday against Milton-Union.

Madison 65, Milton-Union 35: Olivia Philpot (18), Brittany Shields (14) and Meghan Miller (11) paced the visiting Mohawks’ scoring as they rolled to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the SWBL Buckeye Division.

Madison hosts Waynesville on Saturday.

Valley View 65, Monroe 26: The host Spartans surged to a 30-8 halftime lead and cruised in SWBL Southwestern Division play.

Hannah Haeseker paced Valley View (3-1, 3-0 SWBL Southwestern) with 12 points. Hannah Thomas had nine and Hannah Collins added eight.

Morgan Heck and Reegan Reece marked six points apiece for the Hornets (0-4, 0-2).

The Spartans travel to Franklin on Saturday, while Monroe hosts Eaton next Thursday.

Waynesville 77, Preble Shawnee 44: Courtney Lakes had 17 points for the visiting Arrows, who are 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the SWBL Buckeye Division.

Shawnee hosts Milton-Union on Tuesday.

Bellbrook 75, Franklin 32: Chrissy Robinson’s 12 points led the visiting Wildcats, who fell to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the SWBL Southwestern Division.

Franklin hosts Valley View on Saturday.

Boys bowling

Wildcats win twice: Franklin posted a pair of victories over Greater Catholic League opponents this week, beating Dayton Carroll 2,678-2,596 on Monday and Fenwick 3,089-1,783 on Thursday at Strike Zone Lanes.

Marty McClellan led Franklin against Carroll, rolling a 484 series. Zach Bors added a 452.

Against Fenwick, the Wildcats’ top bowlers were Clint Townsend (236-279—515), Devin Hoffer (460 series) and McClellan (459).

Carroll 2,733, Monroe 2,238: David Sorrell’s 375 series led the Hornets on Thursday at Poelking Lanes.

Girls bowling

Carroll 2,161, Monroe 1,870: Courtney Hartman rolled a 299 series for the Hornets on Thursday at Poelking Lanes.
