Franklin to honor three undefeated teams

FRANKLIN — The three undefeated Franklin High School football teams will be honored the weekend of Sept. 17-18.

The newly formed Franklin Wildcat Football Alumni Association is hosting the event which will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 with a Championship Team Tailgate Party outside the football stadium.

All former players and coaches from the undefeated teams of 1960, 1985 and 1989 teams will be recognized at halftime of the Monroe-Franklin game.

The Football Alumni Association will hold the first Franklin Football Alumni Social at 7 p.m. on Sept. 18 for all former Wildcat football players and coaches at the Franklin Golf Course.
