Middletown’s Frazier picks up offer from Kent State
MIDDLETOWN — Rashad Frazier, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound defensive end for the Middletown High School football team, recently received a college scholarship offer from Kent State University.
The offer is the third for Frazier, who also has offers from Bowling Green and Miami, both Mid-American Conference schools.
Frazier was a key defensive member in the Middies’ playoff run. He recorded five quarterback sacks and had one fumble recovery during the season.
Madison Mohawks to host girls high school basketball preview Saturday
MADISON TWP. — The third annual Jim Dabbelt Lady Mohawk Preview will be held Saturday, Nov. 21 at Madison High School. Eight high school scrimmages will take place. Each game will consist of two 8-minute quarters. The game schedule is as follows: 3:15 p.m. — Brookville vs. Troy Christian; 4 p.m. — Miami Valley vs. Carlisle; 4:45 p.m.— Oakwood vs. Fenwick; 5:30 p.m.— Waynesville vs. Edgewood; 6:15 p.m.— Franklin vs. Tri-Village; 7 p.m.— Troy vs. Little Miami; 7:45 p.m.— Tipp City vs. Springboro; 8:30 p.m.— Madison vs. Lakota East. Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for students. No passes will be accepted.
