ABOUT THE PROJECT ...

On April 10 and 24, 2005 the demolition experts at DemTech took down more than one-half of the old High Main Street Bridge.   According to officials no public announcement was made prior to the event to keep crowds to a minimum for the public's safety.   However, officials with the OHio Department of Transportation, which is overseeing the estimated $17 million project, said an announcement may be made to the public prior to the next demolition, which will likely take place before the end of May.
