What/When/Where? The “Blue Moon Affair” is slated from 7 p.m. to midnight on May 15 at the Schuster Center.
Who benefits? This annual event raises money for Community Action Partnership’s Youth Empowerment Center, which gives youths ages 7 to 17 a safe place to go every weekday where they receive valuable literacy and entrepreneurship training, social skill building opportunities and mentoring support.
The party will celebrate Community Action Partnership’s efforts while raising funds to sustain the agency’s youth programming.
What’s in store? Special performer for the evening is actor, writer, singer, composer, poet and Dayton native Daniel Beaty. The evening also includes a cocktail hour, dinner, entertainment by Premium Blend Music and a presentation from the Youth Empowerment Center.
How to dress? “Blue Tie.” Guests are encouraged to wear a blue dress, suit, tie, and/or accessories.
