The following recalls have been announced:

_ About 145,000 Chinese-made Kenmore and Kenmore Elite coffee makers, because the wiring can overheat, posing a risk of burns and fires. The coffee makers were sold at Sears, Sears Hardware, The Great Indoors and Kmart stores around the country, as well as on http://www.sears.com and http://www.kmart.com between August 2007 and April 2008. Sears has received 20 reports of overheated coffee makers, including 12 reports of fires. No injuries were reported. _ About 10,000 Taggies Strollin' Along stroller activity bars, manufactured in Hong Kong and imported and distributed by International Playthings Inc., because the shiny material on the elephants can detach, posing a choking hazard. The company has received three reports of this material detaching and ending up in a child's mouth. No injuries have been reported. _ About 210,000 car chargers used with Power System Plus 3 Million Candlepower Spotlights, manufactured in China and imported and distributed by International Merchandising Service Inc., because the charger is not compatible with the spotlight's battery. This can pose a fire or burn hazard. The company has received two reports of overheated spotlights, but no reports of injuries.
