One woman still hospitalized following Ross Twp. crash

Emergency crews were dispatched at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, to the crash at Hamilton New London and Layhigh roads on a report of a vehicle on fire and a woman trapped inside another vehicle.
Tina Ashbrook, 21, of Morgan Twp., was flown to University Hospital in Cincinnati after her Honda Accord, heading south on Layhigh Road, collided with a newer model Mazda heading west on New London driven by Casey Stillwell, 27, of Middletown, Ross Twp., according to Ross Twp. police.
Ashbrook was in fair condition this morning, March 18, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Stillwell was treated and released from Fort Hamilton Hospital, according to the hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.



Emergency crews from the Butler County Sheriff's Office and Ross Twp. responded to a crash scene at the intersection of Layhigh and Hamilton New London roads about 5 p.m. Tuesday evening.
