LEBANON — Debbie Kilburn, wife of long-time Warren County Commissioner Michael Kilburn died Tuesday, Nov. 25, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

"She will be sorely missed," said County Commissioner Pat South. "Debbie was a wonderful individual — very caring, very religious."

South said Kilburn, 51, had been first diagnosed with kidney cancer eight years ago and had defied doctor's expectations by beating the cancer into remission. South said the disease returned earlier this year.

Kilburn is survived by her husband and four children: Stephanie, Stacy, Steve, and Suzie, and three grandchildren. Kilburn was a member of the Kings Point Church of God in Maineville, which had been hosting weekly prayer sessions for her, according to its Web site.

The Kilburns lived in Clearcreek Twp. until 1996 when they moved to Salem Twp.

A visitation will be held at the Kings Point Church, 5600 South Ohio 48, Maineville, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation.

Memorial donations can be made to Kings Point Church.
