Romney, actress in area stumping McCain, Obama

CINCINNATI — Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and actress Natalie Portman could cross paths today, Oct. 16, as both are in town stumping for their presidential candidate of choice.

Portman will speak in support of Sen. Barack Obama at a "Vote Early Rock Late" rally and concert at Cincinnati's Fountain Square at 6:45 p.m. The event will feature Southwest Ohio bands The National and The Breeders.

This follows rallies in downtown Cincinnati and Blue Ash today featuring Romney, who spoke in support of Sen. John McCain.

On Friday, Oct. 17, Portman will headline an early vote rally at the University of Cincinnati, where she will encourage attendees to vote early and get involved in local campaign efforts. That event is scheduled for 9:50 a.m. the Tangeman University Center Atrium at 2600 Clifton Avenue.
