Mason native Dan Patrick joins NBC Football Night in America

Mason High School and University of Dayton graduate Dan Patrick has been named co-host of Football Night in America, NBC's studio show which airs during the NFL season, NBC announced. Patrick will be teamed with MSNBC TV host Keith Olbermann — whom Patrick shared ESPN SportsCenter duties with from 1992 to 1997 — and present the week's NFL highlights.
Patrick and Olbermann join host Bob Costas, co-host Cris Collinsworth, analysts Tiki Barber and Jerome Bettis and reporter Peter King.
Olbermann and Patrick also wrote a book, The Big Show, about their experiences at ESPN.
Patrick currently hosts a national radio show and is a columnist for Sports Illustrated.
