MADISON TWP. — The Madison Local Schools community was praying Monday, June 16, for Gayle Bolinger, the district's assistant treasurer, who was injured in a car crash that claimed the life of her husband, Gary Bolinger, and two others.
"It's pretty devastating to me right now," said Mark Zimov, the district's treasurer. "I don't even know if I can talk about it. She's not someone who can be replaced in either skills or attitude."

The couple's 5-year-old grandson Ethan Bolinger also was injured in the crash and was flown to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where his injuries were reported as critical, according to the patrol.
Gayle Bolinger's condition was not available, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
"Everyone say a prayer for Gayle Bolinger," said board President Glenn Cappel, as he opened Monday night's board meeting.
The Bolingers, both 58 of Middletown, struck another vehicle head on at 4:25 p.m. when Gary Bolinger drove their Pontiac Grand Prix across the center line on northbound Ohio 122 in an attempt to pass a vehicle turning right onto Greenbush Road in Preble County, according to the patrol.
