Alan F. Nori, 39, was arrested at 3:24 a.m. for allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving under suspension after police stopped him near the intersection of Orchard Street and Roosevelt Boulevard.
Jessica Lemaster reported the theft of her purse from the back of an unlocked car parked in the 3200 block of Andrew Street. The theft occurred sometime between 1 and 6 a.m.
Kelvin Thomas reported a break-in at 11:09 a.m. at an apartment in the 3100 block of Wilbraham Road. Thomas felt resistance when he tried to open the apartment's door and then, while checking the back, he saw a man fleeing along the canal. A fire safe, Nintendo game cube and games and prescription medication were stolen. A woman in the 2900 block of North Carmody Boulevard called police a short while later and reported a man had thrown away a safe in the dumpster.
Linda Phelps reported a basket of dirty laundry was stolen at 3:02 p.m. from the community laundry room at her apartment in the 100 block of South Clifton Street.
Matthew Young reported jewelry, loose change and medication were stolen from his home in the 1700 block of Oxford State Road during a burglary that took place sometime between 6:15 a.m. and 2:10 p.m.
Deanna Hollon, 27, was arrested after she crashed her car into a utility pole at 6:19 p.m. in the 1800 block of University Boulevard. Hollon was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under suspension, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to control and an outstanding bench warrant.
Saturday, Feb. 23:
Police found six Winchester shell casings outside a home in the 4600 block of Freedom Court after a man reported hearing gun shots at 11:12 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 17: The padlock was cut off the garage door in the 2000 block of Williams Street between Feb. 3 and Feb. 17 and a 1994 Corvette owned by Ernest Lenos was damaged. Change and a lug key for the wheels also was taken.
Wednesday, Feb. 20:
Harold Haney reported batteries worth $300 were stolen early Feb. 20 from a truck in the 4000 block of Eck Road.
Friday, Feb. 22: Someone took a pack of cigarettes and $187 from a vehicle owned by Adam Turcotte of the 8000 block of Celestial Circle, Liberty Twp., overnight while the vehicle was parked at the residence.
Saturday, Feb. 23:
Tools worth $440, a safe valued at $100 and a coin collection worth $15,500 were stolen between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. from the James Bedinghaus residence in the 2000 block of Jacksonburg Road.
Four mailboxes in the 4000 block of Trudy Lane were damaged overnight.
Monday, Feb. 25:
Thieves took a purse belonging to Valerie Henderson of the 4000 block of Imperial Drive while the vehicle was parked in the 4000 block of Hamilton-Mason Road between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. The purse contained credit cards, a cell phone, checkbook, keys and a passport.
A trailer containing tools valued at $7,154 belonging to Doug Gilmore of Loveland were stolen between Feb. 16 and Feb. 25 from the 6000 block of Graybirch Knoll.
Tuesday, Feb. 26:
The front door of the Randy Tye residence in the 10 block of Island Lake Drive was forced. Nothing was discovered missing from the residence.
