A Middletown couple will be contestants on a new reality show scheduled to premiere in March.

Extras
The six-episode reality show pits eight newly married couples against each other competing for a "nest egg" of hundreds of thousands of dollars, according to ABC. The couples will take on mental and physical challenges designed to test their love and passion for one another.
At the end of each episode, the couples vote to send one couple home, according to ABC.
The engagement of Lance and Heather was announced in The Journal in March of 2005, with a wedding date later that year. According to the announcement, Heather, whose maiden name is Burt, graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School.
The Holmeses could not be reached for comment.
When the couple met, Lance told one of her friends that he would marry Heather the moment he saw her and they professed their love after only three months, according to ABC.
Lance and Heather Holmes aren't the only southwest Ohio couple on the reality show. A Cincinnati couple — Fawziah and Atif Bajwa, who had an arranged marriage — is also on the show, according to ABC.
Here Come the Newlyweds premieres at 10 p.m. March 2 on ABC.
