Staff Writer

Saturday, September 22, 2007

FRANKLIN — American flags that were flown when the traveling Vietnam Wall came to town are now for sale.

The 100 flags lined the entrance of Community Park for the Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall and Cost of Freedom display in August.

Extras

The cotton flags, which are 3 feet by 5 feet on a white pole, can be purchased for $15 each.

The flags were brought to Franklin from Lima, where they were part of a 625-flag display in June.

Any unsold flags will be returned to the Exchange Club of Lima, which sponsored the Healing Field flag event.

The flags are available at 313 S. Main St. Checks to pay for flags should be made to the Exchange Club of Lima.
