MIDDLETOWN — Miami University Middletown’s Artist and Lecture Series has rescheduled Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park ‘s production of “Cyrano” at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12 in Johnston Hall.
This program was originally scheduled for Feb. 5 but was postponed due to inclement weather. Tickets issued for the Feb. 5 performance will be honored at the Feb. 12 show.
“Cyrano” is an adaptation of Edmond Rostand’s play “Cyrano de Bergerac.” Cyrano’s extremely large nose keeps him from expressing his love to the beautiful Roxane, as he believes his ugliness prevents him from being loved. Actors from Playhouse in the park perform the show using props found at the venue.
Tickets for this performance are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens over 65 and Miami faculty/staff, and free for students and youth 18 and younger (ticket required). Tickets are available online at www.tickets.muohio.edu or by calling (513) 727-3383.
