Busy weekend for West Chester Twp.
You will be busy this weekend.
For starters the Beer Barons festival is scheduled to run Friday to Sunday at Muhlhauser Barn in Beckett Park. From what I’ve been told, it’s as much about local history and good food as it is about liquid courage, though presenting sponsor Christian Moerlein is scheduled to have a variety of its wares on tap.
For those looking for an event with less hops and more shop, the West Chester Farmer’s Market kicks off the 2008 season from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on Centre Pointe Drive in the Union Centre Business District. I started buying produce at the market last year, and I’m not saying anything - the locally grown goods speak for themselves and then some.
Both events are being touted as big community-builders. Are you going? If you go, share your thoughts, and keep an eye on pulsejournal.com for pictures from both events.
