Happy Earth Day!

Happy Earth Day!

Today is the 38th annual celebration of the planet we call home, and a day to step back and think about things we can do to preserve and restore our natural resources…

So that’s the official line on Earth Day, but I want to know: what do YOU think about Earth Day?

Is it a time to reflect on accomplishments?

A time to call for more action?

Or something in-between?

Send a post, let us know, then go outside and do something good for the planet.

More green browsing

Green progress is a little less technically-oriented than Green Energy News, which I mentioned in yesterday’s post. That means that if you want a quick shot of info, or a new green-related idea to chew on, it’s a site that can supply it.

Topics on the Green Progress site are fairly easy to navigate, and some of them are unique. The article on plastic hangers, for example, really got me thinking.

Take a look at the site, and again, come back and share your thoughts with the rest of us.

That article was one-sided in that it did not consider that once the newly bought clothing got home, the hanger might actually get used. Now there’s an idea!
